Senior FP&A Analyst – Washington, DC (4 days in-office requirement)
$125,000 - $140,000 base salary 15% Annual Bonus Target
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will not just report on the numbers—you will provide the strategic insights that drive our capital allocation and operational roadmap.
Role Description As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will support and directly contribute to firm growth by providing financial analysis and insights by managing and optimizing key FP&A processes in partnership with stakeholders.
In this key partner role, you will leverage your analytical, attention to detail, and consultative skills to track performance metrics and model business scenarios to inform key strategic and operational decisions. Additionally, you enjoy the fast-paced, high-stakes environment of a growth-stage company.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Closing: Manage core FP&A responsibilities, such as monthly closing, collaborating with business partners and accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly financials.
Financial Reporting: Deliver monthly insights on financial performance for Finance and Business leadership by developing KPIs and providing ongoing reporting.
Strategic Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated Budget and Forecast financial models in Excel to support CapEx deployment, network expansion ROI, multi-year revenue projections, and cash forecasting.
Data Architecture & Visualization: Leverage PowerQuery and Power BI to transform raw data from our operational and financial systems into dynamic dashboards that track real-time KPIs (e.g., Homes passed, ARPU, churn, etc.).
Operational Partnership: Work cross-functionally with our Construction and Operations teams to monitor project spend vs. budget, identifying variances before they impact the bottom line.
Board & Executive Reporting: Prepare high-visibility materials for the CFO and BOD, translating complex data into a clear entrepreneurial narrative.
Process Automation: Continuous improvement of the "finance tech stack," ensuring our data systems are synchronized and scalable.

BS/BA in Finance, Business or Accounting
3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development.
2+ years of building financial and business models, with an emphasis on financial strategies.
A self-starter who doesn't wait for a manual to be written—you write it.
Expert proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerQuery, NetSuite, and PowerPoint is required.
Experience using data to identify opportunities for business improvement and defining/measuring the success of those initiatives.
Distinctive problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with impeccable business judgment.
Capable of working on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for/with stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
