FP&A Manager – Fintech (McLean, VA)
A rapidly scaling fintech company is seeking a Corporate FP&A Manager to drive financial planning, forecasting, strategic analysis, and decision support across the organization. This is a highly visible role ideal for candidates with investment banking, transaction advisory (TAS), financial due diligence, or strategic finance backgrounds.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial reporting.
  • Develop dynamic financial models for revenue, unit economics, customer behavior, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build dashboards and KPIs for leadership and board-level visibility.
  • Analyze revenue drivers, cost structure, margins, and SaaS/fintech business performance.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accuracy of financial statements and variance explanations.
  • Support scenario modeling, pricing analysis, business cases, and capital allocation planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership.
  • Improve forecasting tools, automation, and data quality across finance systems.
  • Prepare materials for executive reviews, strategic planning, and investor updates.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5–8+ years in FP&A, investment banking, transaction advisory/TAS, financial due diligence, or strategic finance.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue forecasting, and unit economics.
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, subscription models, or technology preferred.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills for executive-level audiences.
  • High ownership, curiosity, and comfort operating in a high-growth environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, retention, ARPU).
    Exposure to valuation, M&A modeling, or market sizing.
  • Experience implementing FP&A tools, planning systems, or BI platforms.
  • Background supporting board materials or investor relations.
