Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for a A growing residential home‑services company in the Gainesville, VA area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and has hands-on experience in billing, collections, and AR operations within a manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment.
Key Responsibilities
Generate customer invoices by working with inventory and job data within the ERP system
Verify job and billing details with internal locations and departments
Perform cash applications and maintain accurate AR aging reports
Conduct collections activities and follow up on outstanding receivables according to contract terms
Assist with additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, ideally within a manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-driven environment
Strong problem-solving skills; able to resolve issues even when information is incomplete
Experience using ERP systems such as Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
Must be able to work on‑site in Gainesville/Haymarket area 5 days per week
