Overview
Private growth, expansion-stage, established start-up tech/SaaS firm ($400m valuation) – revolutionizing technology solutions for a valued, profitable demographic/niche – is scaling globally.  As part of its growth, the Chief Financial Officer would like to bring in an intelligent, skilled Financial professional to support its future direction and decisions.

Opportunity Scope
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Maintain and update corporate financial model to support growth initiatives, financing activity, M&A, and develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Clearly communicate financial results, planning assumptions/expectations, and outcomes. You will help drive forward the entire finance calendar.
  • Maintain a long-range plan in support of the company’s strategy in partnership with executive management, business development, and finance leadership. You will continuously support the strategic planning process.
  • Assist with all phases of capital raising including debt and equity.
  • Lead financial analysis of major initiatives, such as regional and international expansion, to assess ROI and payback periods, conduct build vs buy vs partner analysis.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to prepare Board materials, presentations, and monthly internal reporting, as well as all materials in support of financing and M&A activities.
  • Partner with COO, operations, and sales teams to develop rich insights, plans, and forecasts with a high degree of transparency and accuracy.
  • Champion the reporting and analysis of KPIs.  You will partner with Business Analytics and leadership to evolve KPIs, ensuring measurement of key performance drivers and leading indicators.
  • Work closely with the CFO and Finance leadership team to build the financial infrastructure to support the company’s current and future business requirements.

Requirements/Preferences
  • 4+ years’ experience in Finance required 
  • Experience as an Analyst and/or Associate in investment banking is highly preferred.
  • BS/BA Degree – Finance, Business, Accounting etc.
  • Offer superior analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
  • Bring a strong executive presence
  • Be comfortable presenting your data visualization skills.
  • Excel modeling expert – you can create three-statement reporting and analysis. 
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • You have great intuition and can figure things out without a detailed road map.
  • You thrive in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
  • You have solid accounting knowledge (including GAAP).
