Senior Accountant | $120k–$135k + Bonus

Location: Vienna, VA – Hybrid (1 day a week in-office)

About the Role

Profitable, stable, and growing government contractor seeking an Senior Accountant to own the monthly close and core accounting operations. This is a high-ownership role offering day-to-day autonomy while partnering directly with the CFO for guidance, mentorship, and strategic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reporting
• Support FAR- and DCAA-compliant accounting practices
• Assist with billing across FFP, T&M, and Cost-Reimbursable contracts
• Support labor charging, indirect rates, and audit readiness
• Maintain and optimize accounting processes in Unanet

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8+ years of GovCon accounting experience
• Hands-on Unanet experience required
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DCAA compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA/CMA a plus, not required
