Cordia Resources is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to manage the daily financial operations that keep our award-winning retail business running smoothly. This fully in-person role oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and essential daily financial processes.

Location: Vienna, VA Schedule: Part-Time (25–30 hours per week) Work Arrangement:Fully in-office-must be available in office during normal daytime business hours
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor payments, credit card reconciliations, customer collections, and aging reports.
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, and daily closings.
Monitor incoming orders and wire service transactions; produce routine sales, revenue, and performance reports for management.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile billing systems such as fixed asset accounts, including depreciation and amortization.
Support compliance activities including maintaining current 1099 records, accruing payroll, and processing manual checks and petty cash requests.
Collaborate with department managers to ensure timely financial documentation and assist with internal inquiries.
Provide responsive customer service via phone and email regarding financial questions or issues.
Assist with internal financial reporting, special projects, and audit support as needed.
Uphold strict standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years of relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
Strong expertise in QuickBooks Desktop required.
Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Retail or small business accounting experience is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory-focused bookkeeping, reconciliations, and daily retail reporting is a plus.
