Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in Accounts Receivable, Salesforce, and NetSuite. In this role, you will support the organization’s financial integrity through accurate revenue processing, reconciliation, audit preparation, and AR oversight. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial results.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable
Manage full-cycle AR processing, including invoicing, receipt application, and monitoring aging
Research and resolve AR discrepancies with internal teams and external partners
Oversee online payment platforms and ensure accurate daily settlement posting
Process donor gifts and ensure compliance with documentation and revenue recognition rules
Month-End Close
Prepare and post month-end journal entries
Perform account reconciliations, including AR, deferred revenue, cash, and other balance sheet accounts
Assist with accruals, revenue entries, and month-end variance analysis
Audit & Compliance
Support internal and external audit preparation, including schedules, samples, and documentation
Maintain accurate audit-ready supporting files for all AR and GL activities
Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal financial controls
Systems & Process Improvement
Utilize and maintain financial data within Salesforce and NetSuite
Identify process improvements to streamline AR and reconciliation workflows
Partner with finance leadership to enhance system efficiency and reporting accuracy
Qualifications
3–5+ years of accounting experience, with strong AR responsibilities
Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is required
Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
Proficient in journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and accrual accounting
Experience with donor gift processing or nonprofit finance preferred (but not required)
Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex discrepancies
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
