Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is partnering with a founder‑led, private equity‑backed SaaS company that supports mission‑critical infrastructure services across North America. The business operates at meaningful scale (hundreds of locations, multi‑state footprint) and is entering a high‑growth chapter driven by M&A, product expansion, and strategic investment. We are hiring a Finance Manager (Strategic Finance & M&A) to work directly with the CFO as the #2 in Finance. This is a deal‑oriented, strategy‑first role — not traditional accounting or back‑office FP&A.
This opportunity is especially attractive for someone with investment banking training who wants to move closer to the business, gain real operating exposure, and help shape a PE‑backed platform.

4–6+ years of progressive finance experience

Advanced experience with financial modeling, valuation, and three‑statement analysis
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
High intellectual curiosity and comfort operating without a detailed roadmap
Executive presence and ability to communicate with senior leadership and investors
Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier university with strong academic performance
Why This Role Stands Out
True #2 to the CFO with visibility and influence
Heavy exposure to M&A, strategy, and PE‑backed growth
Founder‑led culture with momentum and urgency
