This role supports a large, complex payroll environment and offers the opportunity to lead day‑to‑day payroll operations while improving processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end U.S. payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees
- Serve as the Workday Payroll subject‑matter expert
- Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance activities
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives
- Manage and mentor payroll staff as applicable
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Hands‑on Workday Payroll experience required
- Strong knowledge of multi‑state payroll and compliance
- Experience supporting high‑volume or complex payroll environments
- Ability to work on‑site in the DC metro area
