Location: Arlington, VA (100% onsite, 5 days/week)

Role Overview
In this role, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end U.S. payroll operations in a fast‑paced, public‑company environment. The ideal consultant is highly experienced, self‑sufficient, and comfortable managing complex payrolls with minimal onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end U.S. payroll processing for a large employee population
- Manage bi‑weekly payrolls and frequent off‑cycle payrolls (terminations, commissions, adjustments)
- Ensure payroll compliance, including quarterly and annual reporting
- Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements
- Process equity compensation and large commission payrolls
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with payroll activities that support a global workforce (as needed)
Required Qualifications
- Strong, hands‑on Workday Payroll experience (required)
- Experience with ADP, including payroll tax processing
- Proven background owning payroll in large, complex organizations
- Public company payroll experience, including equity and commissions
- Deep knowledge of payroll compliance and reporting
- Ability to operate independently in a plug‑and‑play consulting role
- Willingness to work onsite five days per week (non‑negotiable)
