Senior Accountant
Work Model: Hybrid (Flexible) - 2x a week in office
Our client is a PE-backed global organization with a strong US presence and international footprint, continues to grow steadily through organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their U.S. finance team. Reporting to the Controller this role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to play a key role in a multi-entity, subscription-based business.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606, including deferred revenue schedules
- Partner with FP&A to deliver accurate financial data and support reporting needs
- Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Assist with audit, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Perform bank reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and intercompany accounting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with U.S. and international teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA preferred, not required
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, including ASC 606
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Exposure to subscription-based or multi-entity environments is a plus
