A well‑established professional services firm is seeking a Director of Finance & Operations to serve as the backbone of the organization’s financial and operational infrastructure.

This is a broad, leadership‑oriented role for someone who enjoys being both strategic and executional.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Manage operational infrastructure tied to finance, HR, payroll, and vendors
• Partner with senior leadership on business planning, growth, and profitability
• Analyze performance by project, client, and service line
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, controls, and processes

What We’re Looking For

• Director‑level or strong Controller background within professional services
• Experience directly running finance and operations (not purely FP&A or technical accounting)
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and support leadership with clear, actionable insights
• Background in smaller or mid‑market organizations preferred
