Job Description: Sage Intacct SME – FQHC/Healthcare Experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Sage Intacct Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) experience to support financial system optimization, operational alignment, and reporting strategy. This role will serve as a strategic advisor to guide best practices, enhance workflows, and ensure long-term alignment of Sage Intacct with FQHC-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
FQHC Advisory & Operational Excellence
- Provide expert guidance on FQHC operational workflows, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
- Assess current processes and recommend best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Partner with finance, clinical, and administrative teams to align financial systems with healthcare delivery operations.
Reporting & Compliance
- Advise on FQHC-specific reporting requirements, including UDS (Uniform Data System), grant reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and optimize financial and operational reports within Sage Intacct to support decision-making and compliance needs.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting structures, including cost allocation and program tracking.
Sage Intacct Optimization & Integration
- Serve as the internal expert on Sage Intacct capabilities, configuration, and best practices.
- Lead efforts to align Sage Intacct with long-term organizational goals, including scalability and system integration.
- Evaluate and recommend integrations with other systems (e.g., EHR, payroll, billing, and revenue cycle tools).
- Support system enhancements, implementations, or upgrades related to Sage Intacct.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and leadership teams to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Deliver training and documentation to ensure adoption of new processes and tools.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on financial systems roadmap and optimization opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience as a Sage Intacct SME, including configuration, reporting, and system optimization.
- Direct experience supporting or working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
- Strong understanding of FQHC financial operations, including grants management, cost reporting, and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing financial workflows and reporting solutions.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights.
Preferred
- Experience integrating Sage Intacct with healthcare systems (EHR, practice management, billing platforms).
- Familiarity with HRSA requirements, UDS reporting, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Background in healthcare finance, nonprofit accounting, or community health organizations.
