ServiceNow Developer

Our client is a rapidly growing company that is increasing our use of ServiceNow for program management and we need a ServiceNow Developer to join our team! The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for making updates to our ServiceNow production and development instances to recommend solutions to meet customer’s needs and complete customer requests for changes. The ideal candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be a great team player, and be focused on customer service. 


  • Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow system, including making approved changes to forms, tables, reports, and workflows
  • Create and customize reports, homepages, and dashboards in ServiceNow
  • Ensure the ServiceNow platform and tools remain current by performing testing and installation of ServiceNow updates, patches, and new releases
  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions and Scripts
  • Identify problems and areas for improvement, research solutions, reconfigure or recode the system to improve system functionality
  • Manage ServiceNow security by managing roles and access control lists
  • Train personnel in ServiceNow use and processes to include creating supporting documentation including user and training guides
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Information Technology Business Management (ITBM)
  • Project Portfolio Suite with Financials applications and modules in ServiceNow
  • Skilled in developing solutions that require the use of JavaScript and Glide class APIs
  • Understand project management processes
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, plan, and execute tasks
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to logically think through problems
  • Good communication and customer service skills
