Clearance Requirements: This position may require a security clearance in the future.  Applicants must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Travel Requirements: Travel up to 10-15% of the time (domestic and international possible)

B.S. degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical) or Computer Science required

Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maturation of company systems for autonomous vehicles
• Assist in the transition between existing autonomous ground vehicle technology from tests and demos to permanent operations.
• Develop and improve Systems Engineering processes for the company that are appropriate for all levels of system development - from small R&D projects to large systems.
• Apply Systems Engineering to support the analysis and verification of system safety and performance.
• Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to improve the practice of Systems Engineering
• Work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure systems requirements are captured, maintained, and verified.
• Capture software and hardware architecture details in modeling tools which are used to communicate complex concepts of system behavior and structure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.S. degree in Systems Engineering or related field
• Experience with SysML and Cameo Enterprise Architect and/or MagicDraw.
• Experience applying UL 4600, ISO-26262, MIL-STD-882, or similar safety specifications
• Experience applying model-based analysis and simulation using tools such as MATLAB
• Experience with autonomous robotic systems
