Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
Location: Hybrid - Baltimore, MD
Hourly Rate: $30.00-$33.00 - converts at $60,000
Job Type: Contract to Hire
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process for our clients projects.
• Generate and send accurate invoices to clients, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and project milestones.
• Monitor and track receivables, following up on outstanding payments and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather project-related information, ensuring billing accuracy.
• Maintain clear and organized records of financial transactions, adjustments, and communications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to invoices and payments.
• Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and assist in month-end close processes.
• Analyze and report on AR metrics to identify trends, assess payment patterns, and support financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in either construction, property, or real estate industry
• In-depth knowledge of industry-specific billing practices, regulations, and contract terms.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
