We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in processing both union and non-union payroll, possess strong organizational skills, and be proficient in payroll software, with a preference for candidates experienced in ADP Workforce Now.
Responsibilities:
Process union and non-union payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Handle employee onboarding procedures, including verifying employment documentation, and completing required paperwork.
Manage employee setup and changes in the payroll system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information.
Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime, ensuring accuracy in every payroll cycle.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other departments.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide necessary training to employees.
Generate reports and summaries on payroll activities as required by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 of experience in payroll processing, including union and non-union environments.
Proficiency in payroll software, with ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
