Staff Accountant ($60-$70k + Great Benefits)

They're currently seeking a Staff Accountant whose sharp skills in financial reporting and analysis will be pivotal in upholding the company's dedication to environmental and social progress.

 

As a custodian of the company's financial integrity, your meticulous attention to accounting details will be instrumental. You will manage the accuracy of financial records, contributing to the organization's mission by enabling informed decisions that align with its commitment to a sustainable and vibrant future.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience; more than 3 years and retail/merchandise experience highly valued.
• Proficiency in A/P automation, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Google Suite & Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience with Medius and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Proven ability to manage time, prioritize fluctuating tasks, and handle unexpected demands with reliability.
• A proactive problem-solver who is dependable and takes initiative.

 

Core Responsibilities:

• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, process corporate credit transactions, and ensure accurate travel expense reimbursements.
• Monitor daily cash flows, identifying discrepancies, and devising recovery strategies.
• Manage monthly sales and use tax calculations.
