Responsibilities:
Reston, VA (Supporting Acquisitions Team):
- Dive into the world of high-stakes acquisitions, working closely with our acquisitions team to analyze financial data, conduct due diligence, and evaluate potential investments.
- Be a critical part of the team responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports related to acquisitions.
- Use your financial prowess to conduct in-depth analysis, uncovering opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements.
- Ensure that our financial practices align with the latest accounting standards and regulations.
Alexandria, VA (Supporting Accounting Operations Team):
- Be the backbone of our accounting operations team by maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts with precision and expertise.
- Play a pivotal role in our month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and meticulously review financial statements and reports, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Take charge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, managing them with finesse.
- Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting activities, making your mark on our financial strategies.
- Uphold our accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Possess a proven track record in corporate or public accounting, showcasing your expertise.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Be recognized for your keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Command proficiency in accounting software and have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other 365 products.
- Excel in communication, both independently and as a valued member of a collaborative team.
Salary Range: The salary range for these positions is competitive and based on your experience, with candidates typically earning between $80,000 and $115,000 annually.
