Job Title: Project Manager 
Location: Remote (Tallahassee candidates preferred)
Contract Duration: 7+ months with the option to extend
Rate: Pay $75/hour
Overview:
The role involves managing IT projects, contributing to strategic planning, and supporting operational enhancements. This includes overseeing custom software development, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and data management projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Program and Project Management Plans.
• Collaborate on scope of services for technology solutions.
• Prepare and update project schedules using MS Project or equivalent.
• Prepare Legislative Budget Requests, Statements of Work, and Operational Work Plans.
• Regularly review and update project management plans and schedules.
• Manage stakeholder communications and change management processes.
• Report on cost and schedule performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• 10+ years of IT business/industry experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• 5+ years managing projects per PMI’s PMBOK Guide.
• 3+ years developing program strategy and enterprise-wide plans.
• 3+ years managing large, cross-functional software projects.

Preferred Experience:

• Leading custom software development and Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform projects.
• Managing cloud solutions with low/no-code platforms.
• Communicating with IT and business leadership.
• Facilitating requirements gathering and Joint Application Design sessions.
• Preparing Legislative Budget Requests and Operational Work Plans.
• Familiarity with State Purchasing rules and IT purchasing processes.
• Managing documentation in MS SharePoint.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
• Alternatively, 5 years of experience in information technology or systems.
