Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist 
Location: Bethesda, Maryland (5 days on-site) 
Position Type: Full-time, Contract to Hire
Salary: $70K-$90K

Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Receptionist/Administrative Assistant with an executive presence to join their Bethesda office. This role is critical to their operations, providing a welcoming environment for visitors and supporting essential office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors and guests, directing them to appropriate locations.
  • Manage shipping and receiving of documents, packages, and courier deliveries.
  • Ensure smooth daily office operations.
  • Coordinate office-related vendor management with the manager.
  • Troubleshoot facilities issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office and meeting rooms.
  • Order lunch, snacks, and beverages for meetings.
  • Monitor and manage office supply, food, and collateral inventories weekly.
  • Collaborate with the local office team on various initiatives.
  • Continuously improve office management processes and implement solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in a front desk or similar role.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude and executive presence.
  • Prompt response to needs and service requests; committed to meeting expectations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; clarity in both positive and negative situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse constituencies.
  • Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
