Cordia Resources is seeking a Controller for our client in the construction industry to manage our financial close and reporting functions. This role will be critical in overseeing financial operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within the accounting team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial reporting and close processes.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
