This entrepreneurial company is looking for an accounting professional who wants a fast-paced/challenging environment . Internally, this role will have high visibility internally and report directly to senior leadership. The company is on track for 300 percent growth in the next 12-18 months.

- Oversee and ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, aligning financial goals with company objectives.
- Prepare management reports and provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage audits, ensuring compliance with SOX, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee accounting related to M&A activity
- Establish and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with sales tax, state, and federal tax filings.
- Implement cost control measures to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA preferred
- 10+ years of public accounting and related corporate experience
- Must have strong knowledge of GAAP, technical accounting skills and financial reporting experience
- Knowledge of federal state and local tax compliance
- Proficiency in financial software/ERP systems and implementations
