Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Bethesda, MD
Conversion Salary: $85,000, with potential for a higher salary based on experience.
Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Controller in various accounting functions.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Perform Bank Reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close processes.
• Generate and analyze financial reports.
• Prepare documentation for audits.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups.
• Experience with accounting software is beneficial, particularly Certinia and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Concur/Expensify is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid work model available after initial training period.
• Initial requirement of 4-5 days in the office for 2-3 weeks for training.
• Post-training: 2-3 days in-office, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays mandatory.
