Our client was recently acquired and requires a skilled Controller to manage and streamline financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough review of accounting records and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Report financials to the parent company.
- Develop, improve, and implement accounting workflows and processes.
- Work closely with the team, including a strong accountant, an office manager, and an HR representative handling payroll.
- Navigate the transition from QuickBooks to Infinity, ensuring smooth system integration.
- Provide hands-on support and be directly involved in the details of the work.
- Proven experience as a Controller role.
- Strong systems experience; familiarity with Infinity is a plus but not required.
- Experience in sales and distribution is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to create and improve accounting workflows and processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week in Upper Marlboro, MD.
