This position will involve overseeing all general accounting functions, analysis, and reporting with the support of two staff members responsible for AP and AR transactions. This is a critical role in our client’s organization, requiring an individual with a strong accounting background to help review their accounting and assist in the effort to modernize their operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of accounting records and assess the quality of financial statements.
- Facilitate the migration to NetSuite later this year from our current systems.
- Provide training and support to new staff members.
- Implement internal controls and address any necessary clean-up in accounting practices.
- Deliver quality information to enhance forecasting capabilities.
- Collaborate with teams to support sales pipeline projections, assist project managers, coordinate with warehouse and inventory management, and more.
- Support executive efforts to modernize the team and operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of internal controls.
- Experience with system migrations, particularly to NetSuite, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems.
- Ability to train and develop new staff.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
