Medical Billing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Medical Billing Supervisor to join their team, serving as the direct point of contact for assigned clients. This role involves supervising Billing Analysts, managing claims processes, and acting as the primary liaison between IT and operational departments. As a trusted advisor, the Account Manager will provide subject matter expertise, perform analysis, and develop business and functional requirements to enhance client services.

Title: Medical Billing Supervisor
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $75,000 - $83,000
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies electronically or by paper.
  • Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes; implement quality assurance measures.
  • Compile monthly accounts receivable reports and manage month-end closing for billing group information.
  • Serve as a technical and subject matter expert for claims data and processing life cycle.
  • Identify issues and facilitate prompt problem resolution.
  • Conduct testing, including creating test scenarios and analyzing outcomes.
  • Maintain client issue trackers and weekly billing reports.
  • Attend weekly meetings and conference calls.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate medical billing activities.
  • Direct and coordinate support services for specific clients.
  • Set goals and deadlines for the client team.
  • Write client-specific process manuals and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy and proper usage of clinical systems and data.
  • Stay current with industry trends and compliance initiatives.
  • Assist with hiring, training, staffing discussions, and team building.
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with HIPAA’s employee manual and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ensure all documents sent outside the company are password-protected.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
