Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Remote - Must Be Local to the Washington, DC Metro Area
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the financial accounting team in the US. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with US GAAP across global affiliates. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has a strong foundation in accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accounting records in compliance with US GAAP.
Prepare and enter journal entries into NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Support month-end close processes and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines.
Participate in process improvements to enhance accounting workflows and efficiency.
Contribute to financial projects and operational goals.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Active pursuit or partial completion of US CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting.
Experience in public accounting required (Big 4 experience is a plus).
Located in the Washington, D.C. metro area for occasional in-person meetings.
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Self-sufficient and proactive with problem-solving skills.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
