Cordia Resources is seeking a Project Accountant with experience in the government contracting industry. This role will manage project-level accounting functions, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and support financial operations across multiple contract types.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle journal entries and account reconciliations.
Manage billing for T&M, Cost Plus, and Fixed Price contracts.
Oversee collections and revenue recognition processes.
Ensure compliance with FAR and DFAR requirements.
Provide audit support and assist with internal/external audits.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in government contracting (required).
Proficiency in Unanet (required).
Strong understanding of FAR and DFAR compliance.
Experience with billing for multiple contract types (T&M, Cost Plus, Fixed Price).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
