Salesforce Administrator

Our client a nonprofit based in Tyson's Corner is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our team and lead the optimization of our data architecture and technology adoption across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining their Salesforce and Fonteva instances, ensuring optimal data integrity, utilization, and driving technology growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce and Fonteva instances, ensuring ongoing system health, performance, and security best practices.
  • Design and implement configurations, customizations, automation, and business rules within Salesforce and Fonteva to meet evolving operational needs.
  • Develop insightful reports, dashboards, and analytics to track key metrics and inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to staff on maximizing their utilization of Salesforce and Fonteva functionalities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement data integrations, including Office365, SharePoint, OneDrive/OneNote, and Esri ArcGIS Online (geospatial database experience is a plus).
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions while balancing out-of-the-box and custom development approaches.
  • Champion and implement best practices for Salesforce administration, data management, and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a non-profit or member management setting.
  • Proven experience with Fonteva integration and Salesforce for non-profit member management.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and other relevant reporting and analytics tools.
  • Salesforce App Builder certification or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth understanding of data management principles and best practices – ability to maintain data integrity within Salesforce, including data cleansing and data migration activities.
  • Skilled in translating business requirements into technical solutions with a focus on user experience.
  • Proven ability to configure object models and field relationships based on business requirements.
  • Experience with both building new Salesforce platforms and enhancing existing Salesforce platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Experience managing security profiles, access permissions, and hierarchies.
  • Ability to collaborate on data architecture design and integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and integrate multiple internal and external datasets.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in administering Salesforce CRM systems and adept at relational database models. Strong knowledge of Fonteva's Platform and the Office365 platform as it pertains to integrations with Salesforce solutions is highly desirable.
