Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Fairfax, VA
Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $45.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (6+ month)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create procedures and policies to establish month reporting of KPIs to the company's leadership team.
- Create full reports using various data visualization techniques on areas of vulnerability, inefficiency, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead significant initiatives targeting new procedures but not limited to:
- New manufacturers, logistics and transportation options, and procurement arrangements.
- Collect data on inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts to analyze supply chain operations.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring supplier performance, identifying alternatives, and developing contingency plans.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in supplier selection, contracting, and sourcing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement in supply chain processes.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on supply chain optimization and strategy, based on data analysis and market insights.
- Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Certification: BS in Business related field.
- Years of Experience: Five years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- A solid understanding of all steps from procurement to payment (requisition, approval, terms, purchase order, receipt, and billing); understand the sourcing related steps (requirements, analysis, strategy planning, vendor selection, execution, contract).
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and practices.
- Organized, detail and customer-oriented, and dependable.
- Effective analytical, oral, and written communication skills for internal customers/vendor relations and interfaces.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision and Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work in dynamic environment and multitask efficiently.
- Experience working with all levels of internal and external customers.
