Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Conduct regular forecasting to identify potential financial risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
  • Provide key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics for management review.
  • Prepare and coordinate audit activities, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
  • Streamline financial processes to support scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align financial strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar finance leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience working remotely and managing virtual teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
