Director, Intelligence Operations

Position:                         Director, Intelligence Operations
Location:                      Arlington, VA – Hybrid 3 days per week
Compensation:            180K plus 15% bonus and full benefits (100% paid by client)

Position Summary

The Director of Intelligence Operations will use multiple sources of collection to analyze and warn against consequential threats to stakeholders and critical elements of the financial sector. This includes developing and maintaining new technical and non-technical sources of information, conducting threat research, and delivering analysis, briefings, and tactical and strategic warnings to stakeholders and US Government partners. The Director of Intelligence Operations will collaborate with organization partners, leadership, and firm intelligence teams to produce analytic assessments of threats to the sector and developments that could present additional operational risks.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage information available in classified and unclassified environments and collaborate with stakeholders and US Government partners to provide early warning on threats to members and systemically relevant critical infrastructure identified in the Risk Register.
  • Provide analytic context regarding the factors driving these threats.
  • Create a common framework for stakeholders and government partners that informs and drives intelligence collection and analysis on the systemic threats to members and the financial services sector.
  • Work with the organization’s Senior Cyber Analysts and outside experts to drive data acquisition and analysis that reveals how global developments could alter the cyber threats and vulnerabilities to members and lead to additional operational risks.
  • Structure and lead the organization’s Intelligence Committee to ensure that it is addressing member needs and priorities and producing outcomes that advance the organization’s mission.

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, ability to anticipate needs and effectively multi-task and manage priorities.  
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as part of a team.
  • Must be a person of integrity, capable of excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, showing the utmost discretion in the management of confidential corporate information.
  • 8+ years of experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis and assembling, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources.

Required Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Intelligence Studies, Cyber Security, Computer Science, International Affairs, or related field or relevant work experience.
  • A current TS-SCI background investigation.  
  • U.S. Citizenship and a Background Check is required for this position.
Desired qualifications
  • Knowledge of the principal methods, procedures, and techniques of gathering information and producing and sharing intelligence reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience with threat intelligence tools and management platforms.
  • Relevant Technical Security Certifications (GIAC, EC-Council, Offensive Security, etc.) a plus.
  • Financial services sector intelligence analysis experience.
