Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Billing Accountant. This role is responsible for supporting Time & Materials (T&M), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) billing, ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements. Additionally, this position will oversee aging review, follow-up on outstanding balances, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process T&M, CPFF, and FFP invoices in compliance with contract terms and government regulations.
Conduct aging reviews, follow up on outstanding receivables, and resolve billing discrepancies.
Perform AR reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Ensure compliance with government contract billing regulations (FAR, DCAA, etc.).
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
Assist with audits and financial reporting related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
Strong billing experience with a government contractor is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of billing and accounts receivable experience in a government contracting environment.
Familiarity with FAR, DCAA compliance, and government invoicing platforms
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
