Cordia Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for complex general ledger work, intercompany consolidations, and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. A CPA certification is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage complex general ledger accounting functions.
Perform intercompany consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Handle revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/ASC 606.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Support audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Stay up to date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
CPA certification required.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
Strong understanding of GAAP, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
Experience with financial consolidations and multi-entity accounting.
Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
