Senior Accountant (CPA)
Bethesda, MDCordia Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for complex general ledger work, intercompany consolidations, and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. A CPA certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage complex general ledger accounting functions.
- Perform intercompany consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Handle revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/ASC 606.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Support audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Stay up to date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
- Experience with financial consolidations and multi-entity accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
