Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Billing Accountant. This role is responsible for supporting Time & Materials (T&M), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) billing, ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements. Additionally, this position will oversee aging review, follow-up on outstanding balances, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process T&M, CPFF, and FFP invoices in compliance with contract terms and government regulations.
- Conduct aging reviews, follow up on outstanding receivables, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Perform AR reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with government contract billing regulations (FAR, DCAA, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Assist with audits and financial reporting related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- Strong billing experience with a government contractor is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of billing and accounts receivable experience in a government contracting environment.
- Familiarity with FAR, DCAA compliance, and government invoicing platforms
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
