Fractional CFO

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Fractional CFO to provide high-level financial strategy and oversight. This role involves direct engagement with investor-level reporting, board presentations, and strategic financial guidance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting, experience providing executive-level assistance, and capable of supporting the Accounting Manager. This role is critical in supporting the PE and board of director reporting and providing strategic guidance to the company leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support comprehensive investor-level financial reports.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to the Board of Directors.
- Offer strategic financial guidance to support our client’s growth and stability.
- Collaborate with consultants on tax filings for a C Corporation active in 27 states.
- Provide oversight and guidance to the Accounting Manager, ensuring alignment with financial strategies and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the government contracting sector.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, strategic planning, and investor relations.
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax filings and compliance.
- Familiarity with Unanet is highly preferred; experience with Deltek is acceptable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
