Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead and manage payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, managing timekeeping systems, and supporting new employee payroll setup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management within the government contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Set up new employees in payroll and timekeeping systems
Manage and maintain timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related reporting and audits
Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for internal and external audits
Assist in developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures
Stay current on payroll best practices and legislative changes affecting payroll
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience
Proven experience with ADP Workforce Now, Costpoint a plus
Experience working in the government contracting industry is required
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
