Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the month-end close process, including closing the books, preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling GL accounts, and preparing financial statements.
- This is a hands-on role, but you will lead and manage a team of two.
- Provide comprehensive financial oversight and ensure the smooth operation of all financial processes.
- Utilize Sage 300 software (highly preferred) and ProCore for efficient financial management and reporting.
- Maintain construction cost management and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the Construction/Real Estate/Development industry is essential.
- Strong background in construction cost management.
- CPA designation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 software is highly preferred; familiarity with ProCor is advantageous.
- Ability to adopt a hands-on approach in managing financial operations.
- Strong understanding of overall financial perspectives and processes.
