Location: Remote but must be in Wash DC area with ability to attend periodic in-person meetings
Hourly Rate: $75.00 - $85.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, monthly close, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight, and commission processing.
- Supervise a small accounting team, includes 2 staff in Philippines.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, cash flow, and financial performance reporting.
- Assist in system optimization for recent transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite.
- Develop and implement SOPs to support scalable financial operations.
- Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and accounting staff, providing mentorship and accountability.
Qualifications:
- CPA preferred.
- Strong hands-on accounting expertise.
- Proven experience in leading accounting teams and improving processes.
- Mandatory proficiency with NetSuite.
- Experience in managing commissions accounting is preferred.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Potential for long-term growth into more responsible roles.
