Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a dynamic mid-market manufacturing company based in the Philadelphia area that is seeking an Interim Controller to join their team on a 3-4 month contract basis. The Interim Controller will be responsible for ensuring seamless financial operations and reporting for a company with a revenue of approximately $175M and a total staff of over 200. The position requires a strong Controller consultant with international experience, manufacturing expertise, and robust ERP skills to support and guide the accounting team during this interim phase. Title: Interim Controller Location: In office, Philadelphia, PA Hourly Rate: Market Job Type: Contract (3-4 months) Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and perform month-end close procedures.
Maintain accurate accounting transactions and conduct variance analysis.
Prepare and report financial information to private equity partners and third-party advisors.
Manage inventory reconciliation and maintain sales information.
Lead team of 4-5 accounting professionals and collaborate with CFO and Financial Analyst.
Ensure effective communication, integration and consolidation with the one off-shore plant/company.
Transition smoothly into the role to provide immediate support during the Controller's notice period.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Controller in a manufacturing environment.
International experience.
Familiarity with major ERP systems, and capable of quickly working with old version SAGE system now in use.
Ability to work on-site with the expectation of half the week in the office, likely more during the initial ramp-up period.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate coordination internally and with off-shore team.
