Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with an established firm within the construction industry that is seeking a dynamic and experienced Billing Specialist with a strong background in AIA billing and construction Accounts Receivable. This role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires someone assertive, organized, and capable of driving the AR process in a fast-paced environment.

Title: Billing Specialist
Location: On-site in Lorton, VA
Type: Temp-to-Perm (Full-time potential)
Compensation: Target salary upon conversion - $80,000/year + Possible discretionary bonus
 

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AIA billing and construction AR for 120–135 active projects monthly
• Handle full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including billing and posting change orders
• Collaborate closely with project managers and operations for data collection
• Lead the AR process beyond mere data entry

💼 Required Skills & Tools:

• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
• Strong skills in Outlook; SharePoint experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Procore, Victor GC, or similar platforms is advantageous

• Strong preference for candidates from construction or related industries
