Investment Operations Analyst

Our client, an East Coast FL private family office - managing a diversified portfolio across real estate, private credit, venture capital, private equity, and infrastructure - is looking to bring in a Lead Analyst over Investment Operations.

This role is central to driving investment process efficiency, enhancing data integrity, and ensuring reporting excellence through mastery of platforms such as Addepar and Arch.

This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborate closely with the investment team, external managers, and service providers to optimize processes, mitigate risks, and uphold the family office’s commitment to excellence and stewardship of wealth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Addepar and Arch, overseeing system configuration, data architecture, and ongoing optimization.
• Manage the ingestion and reconciliation of data feeds, including alternative investment cash flows, valuations, and ownership structures.
• Customize dashboards, reports, and analytics to support investment decision-making and strategic reporting to family principals.
• Lead integrations and data mapping across systems to ensure consistency and eliminate redundancy

Investment Operations Management:

• Coordinate capital calls, distributions, fund subscriptions, and co-investment tracking across complex private markets investments.
• Maintain investment records and reconciliations in Arch and Addepar, ensuring accuracy across NAVs, commitments, and cash activity.
• Develop and document operational procedures for alternative assets including illiquid holdings, fund-of-funds, and SPVs.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc investment reports and portfolio updates tailored to internal and principal stakeholders.
• Monitor and validate performance metrics, IRRs, and benchmarking data across all asset classes.

External Relationships & Due Diligence

• Manage relationships with investment managers, fund administrators, and custodians to ensure timely reporting and issue resolution.
• Partner with the investment team on operational due diligence for new commitments and onboarding of new investments.

Process Optimization & Project Management

• Continuously enhance operational workflows to improve accuracy, timeliness, and scale.
• Lead or participate in special projects such as new system implementations, portfolio restructures, or asset class integrations.

Leadership

• Supervise and mentor investment operations analyst(s), fostering professional growth and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or related
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in investment operations, preferably within a family office or alternative investment environment.
• Experience in Addepar and Arch, or similar system(s) with demonstrated ability to customize and scale their use.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with a strong command of Excel and data visualization tools.
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and commitment to fiduciary responsibility.
