Job Description: We are looking for a results-driven and proactive Senior Accountant to manage and enhance our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and experience working with top-tier audit teams. You will be responsible for financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. Your expertise will support decision-making and improve organizational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct month-end close processes, including preparation and timely delivery of consolidated financial statements.
- Collaborate with audit teams (e.g., Deloitte, KPMG) to provide necessary documentation and ensure compliance with SOX and FAR regulations.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Oversee cash flow management, utilizing TMS systems like Kyriba for automation and efficiency.
- Play a pivotal role in ERP system implementations and provide training and support for team adaptation.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize financial processes and improve reporting quality.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for over 1,000 employees, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance department efficiency.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA candidate with completion expected by Winter 2025.
- Extensive experience with financial systems, including NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, ASC 606, and IFRS 15 principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
