Job Title: Oracle Time and Labor Implementation Consultant
Location: On-Site, North Bethesda, MD
Duration: 6-12 months
Pay Rate: $100/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Time and Labor Implementation Consultant to serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Project Manager (PM) for a key implementation project. This role involves supporting both IT and Accounting departments, ensuring seamless coordination between the company and its Oracle Time and Labor implementation partner. The successful candidate will help drive the project to completion on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and document requirements for Oracle Time and Labor.
- Lead business users in the implementation of new cloud services as needed.
- Gather information, prepare, and report on the status of business projects for leadership and end users.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform improvements and upgrades for cloud services and systems.
- Assess and develop long-term strategic goals for cloud services and databases in collaboration with functional end users.
- Create required reports in response to business user needs, adhering to configuration control and SOX requirements.
- Act as the company's representative with the implementation partner, ensuring alignment with company interests, timelines, and budgets.
- Utilize lessons learned from previous implementations to guide the project direction.
- Organize and document current processes and develop documentation for post-implementation processes for end users.
- Train end users and new hires on system capabilities, business processes, and limitations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of experience specifically implementing the Oracle Time and Labor Module.
- Strong understanding of IT best practices and policies.
- Proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations, lead projects, and motivate others.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Project management experience, particularly in previous implementations.
- Ability to integrate project planning and implementation while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
