Title: Sr. Corporate Accountant
Comp: 110K to 120K plus bonus
Environment: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Job Overview:
A mission-driven organization committed to the Virginia, Washington DC, and Baltimore regions seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting Team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
• Oversee complex account reconciliations and general ledger operations
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage expense allocation, donation tracking, and tax filings
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on standards and procedures
• Ensure internal controls, treasury activities, and cash monitoring are maintained
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on financial tracking and special projects
• Maintain organized accounting files and support audit and tax compliance processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus
• 5+ years of accounting experience
