Cordia Resources is seeking a Staff Accountant with strong construction industry experience. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts payable and subcontractor payments, supporting accurate month-end reconciliations, and assisting with audit preparation. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy of vendor invoices
- Manage subcontractor payments and compliance documentation
- Perform month-end reconciliations and assist with journal entries
- Support annual audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Construction industry accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and reconciliation processes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
