Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting payroll processing across multiple payrolls, responding to employee payroll inquiries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with payroll systems such as Sage 300, Timberline, or Viewpoint is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and review payroll for multiple entities and pay cycles.
Address and resolve employee payroll questions and concerns.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure accurate payroll data.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.
Assist with audits and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s, etc.).
Stay current on payroll best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency with payroll systems such as Sage 300, Timberline, or Viewpoint.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
