Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on accounting, tax, corporate development (M&A), financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters
- Oversee day-to-day functions of the Accounting, Finance, and Contracts departments
- Lead end-to-end financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including annual planning, rolling forecasts, and variance reporting across multiple entities
- Present and manage financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including investors, shareholders, accounting firms, and lending institutions
- Develop and execute financial initiatives, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and support organizational goals
- Advise company executives and managers on financial goals and strategy
- Oversee all aspects of finance and accounting operations, including financial statements, forecasts, planning, budgeting, financial analysis, cash management, and procurement
- Manage integration and change management across entities and business process outsourcing (BPO)
- Serve as Facility Security Officer for facility clearance requirements
- Lead, manage, and inspire teams, including recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10–20 years of managerial experience
- Certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA preferred
- Proven experience as a VP of Finance or similar role
- Strong FP&A background and business acumen
- Experience with government contracting services and cost structures
- Technologically savvy, with experience in ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred)
- Experience managing domestic and international teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Ability to drive strategy, execution, and change management in a growing organization
