Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager for a Department of Defense (DoD) government contractor. We need an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee full-cycle general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with government contracting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Costpoint and a proven track record in the government contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting, including month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other government regulations.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Drive process improvements and system enhancements, including Costpoint optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in the government contracting industry.
Strong Costpoint experience required; Costpoint implementation experience a plus.
In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and GAAP compliance.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
